Our Story
In the Fall of 2015, we happened to sit near each other in our first film production class at San Diego State University. We were quick friends - connecting over our passion for movies, becoming collaborators throughout our time at SDSU. In February 2016, we started dating and have been inseparable ever since.

On February 18th, 2016, Julia got all dressed up and Christian took her to the classiest restaurant he could think of in the Greater San Diego Area: Joe's Crab Shack.

We graduated SDSU at the end of 2017. During our time there, we created four short films together with Julia producing and Christian directing.
​
We then moved to Hacienda Heights (with Best Man Cameron and Groomsman Chris) as Julia went to USC's Producing Program and Christian went to Chapman for Film Directing.

In 2020, we moved to Los Angeles and became proud parents to our cat children, Merry and Pippin, in our first home we had all to ourselves.
​
In 2023, Julia was sent to Hawaii to produce Rescue: Hi Surf for nine months. It was the first time we were apart for more than a week since we'd met.
​
On May 18, 2024, Christian secretly flew to Hawaii and proposed on the beach outside Julia's apartment. Although she blacked out and hardly remembers it, Christian claims she said yes.
